How do I dispose of used coffee and water filters?

Our service team often gets asked “How do I dispose of used filters?” The answer is simple: used filters from both coffee and water machines can usually be disposed of in your regular office waste. There’s no need for specialist recycling or extra handling.
That said, if your building has specific waste guidelines in place, we always recommend double-checking with your facilities team.

Can FreshGround take them away for me?

Not at the moment. We’re not currently equipped to collect used filters, and our service engineers aren’t able to remove them either. We understand this is something more customers are asking about, and it’s on our radar.
