We’re often asked how long it takes to get your new coffee or water system up and running. Here’s a breakdown based on the type of machine you’re getting installed.
Hand-fill Coffee Machines
Installation time: Around 1 hour
What’s involved: Unboxing, setup, basic training
What you need to do: Just have the counter space ready
(These are the quickest to install since they don’t require plumbing.)
Water Coolers and Boilers
Installation time: Around 1 hour
What’s involved: Positioning, connection to water supply, testing, basic training
What you need to do: Ensure the area is accessible and there’s a water and power supply nearby
Plumbed-in Coffee Machines (up to F3)
Installation time: Around 90 minutes
What’s involved: Plumbing connection, power check, setup and calibration. Then training for use and maintenance.
What you need to do: Make sure there’s easy access to water and electricity, and a suitable space prepared. Some small-scale cabinet work may be required.
Larger Coffee Machines (F4, F5, or areas needing extra work)
Installation time: Up to 2 hours per machine
What’s involved: Plumbing for waste and water. May include cutting space for the plumbing into the counter, additional plumbing, more advanced setup
What you need to do: We’ll discuss everything beforehand, so you’re prepared. If any prep work is needed, we’ll guide you through it
Tap Systems
Installation time: Around 90 minutes (depending on setup)
What’s involved: Fitting into existing surfaces, plumbing, testing, countertop cut-out
What you need to do: If stone cutting is required, we’ll let you know in advance and plan accordingly
Lead time
From the time your payment clears, we work to an average lead time of 10 working days to install.
