What is a Borg & Overström Monofit font and why might you need one?

If you’re looking into tap systems for your office, you might be considering the footprint of the font. Part of that consideration is whether you are comfortable cutting into your counters to place the tap and font.
At FreshGround we offer the Monofit font with the T3 and T4 systems. It’s a smart, stylish option that is less invasive than embedded fonts.
So, what is it?
The Monofit font is a surface-mounted drip tray and tap base. It’s designed to work with the Borg & Overström T3 and T4 tap systems and makes installation much easier and less invasive.
Instead of needing lots of cutting into your countertop, Monofit only requires a single 60mm circular hole. That means it’s ideal for premium surfaces like marble, granite or Corian, where you want to keep things neat and avoid damage.

Why it’s a good option
- Installation is simpler
- It’s great for protecting high-end surfaces
- It looks sleek and modern
- It can be specified with touch-free dispense for added hygiene
When monofit makes sense
Monofit is a great choice if:
- You’re installing into a premium surface and want to avoid unnecessary cutting
- You have already got a 60mm hole in your counter and want a quick, tidy upgrade
- You need a fast install with minimal disruption
How we handle installation at FreshGround
We take care of installations ourselves, so you don’t need to worry about coordinating with third parties. We usually start with a site survey to check the location, surface type and technical setup. This helps us make sure everything’s suitable and that the tap will be installed in the best possible spot. You can read more about site surveys here.
