Step-by-step: how to switch to your new Ricco Fabio coffee beans
Option 1
1: Close the bean hopper doors and remove the hoppers with the old beans still inside. Careful not to spill (speaking from personal experience).
2: Tip out any leftover beans.
3: Pour in the fresh beans and reattach the hoppers.
4: Make sure the hopper doors are shut before you start dispensing.
5: Dispense 3 coffees. This clears out any old beans left in the grinder.
6: Reopen the hoppers.
Option 2
If you’d rather not throw away good coffee, use this method.
1: Let the old beans run low, keep brewing until there’s barely any beans left in the hopper.
2: Top up with Ricco Fabio. Pour the new beans straight into the hopper.
3: Keep brewing. And as the machine grinds through the last of the old beans, the flavour will shift naturally to Ricco Fabio.

Top tip for changing beans:
Remember that your coffee machine’s grinder will still contain (on average) 3 coffees worth of beans once the hopper is empty. There are smaller chambers inside the grinder, and you will have to use the new beans to push the old ones through.
