3 Fruity iced tea recipes for summer

Lily Hedley | June 20, 2025

Summer is here, and its the perfect time for iced tea. So we’ve crafted three easy, flavour-packed iced tea recipes you can make in the office. All you need is your regular fruit tea bags, ice, and fruit juice. We’ve used three of the fruitiest blends from our own range to get started. But, you can easily use any fruit tea you have to hand, from Twinings to Pukka. Swap in your favourite juices, too.

Newby’s luxurious tisanes transform completely when served over ice. And we guarantee these will leave you feeling refreshed at your desk.

Ingredients:

Fruit tea bag of your choice, a juice that pairs well and plenty of ice. We used Newby Teas’ orange and rooibos, strawberry and mango and rosehip and hibiscus tea. We paired each one with a different complimentary flavour of juice. For example, we added tropical juice to the orange and rooibos tea, and added summer fruits juice to the rosehip and hibiscus tea.

  1. Add hot water to a mug and brew your fruit tea.
  2. Make sure to brew according to the package instructions, every tea is different.
  3. Once its brewed, remove the tea bag from the mug and allow the tea to cool.
  4. Add ice to a glass.
  5. Slowly pour in your cooled tea.
  6. Top with juice.
  7. (Optional) Garnish with your choice of fruit or herbs.

Not sure what to add as a garnish?

Fruity options: You can add strawberries, orange, lemon or lime.

Herby options: We love adding fresh mint or cucumber to our iced teas.
