TAKK

TAKK is an independent coffee company with three outlets based in Manchester. Nordic-inspired, TAKK is the result of its founders’ travels exploring coffee in Scandinavia and Iceland. They are dedicated to sourcing some of the best guest coffees available in Europe and their house brew is a delicious and flavourful single-origin coffee sourced from Finca Miravalle in El Salvador. Not one to be missed!

People come to relax, socialise and work in these unique and stylish coffee shops. With minimalist Scandi design, the decor is welcoming and contemporary. Plus they have a great brunch menu to enjoy with your coffee.

Atkinson’s at the Mackie Mayor

Mackie Mayor itself is a vibrant and bustling food hall in the Northern Quarter and within it, you’ll find coffee aficionados, Atkinson’s. No visit to Manchester would be complete without heading to Atkinson’s at the Mackie Mayor. They’re specialist coffee roasters and tea merchants and were established in Lancashire in 1837.

They brew some of the highest quality coffees from all around the world and you’d be hard pressed to get a better espresso. If coffee isn’t your thing, they offer an extensive range of quality tea blends to sample as well. Plus this Grade II-listed Victorian building itself is spectacular so enjoy your refreshments and take in the stunning and stylish surroundings.

So Marrakech

Explore the vibrant tastes of Morrocco in the heart of Manchester at So Marrakech. It’s a very unique offering that goes one step further than your traditional coffee shop. Alongside their carefully curated speciality coffees and traditional cakes and sweet treats, you can also shop their own-brand homeware collection. They hold a supper club for customers to further enjoy the authentic Morrocan all-encompassing experience in the evenings.
