5 thirst-quenching sparkling water recipes

Post-lunch slump? Not anymore. A refreshing class of sparkling (sweetened or unsweetened) makes an addictive afternoon energiser. Simple and quick to make, you can whip up these drinks in minutes. We’ve created something for everyone from juicy, sweet berries to vibrant, zesty citrus fruit flavours. 

What do they all have in common? Well, apart from their sparkle, they’re all deliciously refreshing, super simple to make, and will blow the socks off your colleagues and clients!

Strawberry Spritz

Ingredients:

Six fresh strawberries, lemon juice, spring of mint, ice, sparkling water.

Method:

You’ll need a stick blender (hand-held blender) for this recipe so you can whizz up the strawberries and lemon juice together. You can pick up a stick blender for around £15 online and can be stored easily in the office kitchen drawer.

  1. Blend the strawberries together with two tablespoons of lemon juice.
  2. Pour mix into a tall glass over ice.
  3. Top up with sparkling water.
  4. Finish with a spring of mint.

Citrus Zest sparkling drink

Ingredients:

Grapefruit slices, lime cordial, rosemary, ice, sparkling water.

Method:

These fresh citrus fruits come together to make a bold flavoured sparkling water. Bright and vibrant in colour, it not only tastes great but looks great too. You’ll also be helping towards getting one of your five a day with this Citrus Zest drink.

  1. Place ice into a tall glass.
  2. Add two to three small slices of grapefruit.
  3. Pour sparkling water over the top.
  4. Add a generous splash of lime cordial.
  5. Garnish with rosemary.

Vanilla Raspberry Fizz

Ingredients:

Six fresh raspberries, vanilla syrup, slice of lime, ice, sparkling water.

Method:

We love this refreshing drink in the office. It’s a fresh and fruity way to hydrate, and provides a delicious sweet treat to liven up your day.

  1. Add your ice cubes to a tall glass.
  2. Drop your raspberries on top of the ice.
  3. Squeeze lime juice into the glass.
  4. Add two pumps of vanilla syrup.
  5. Pour sparkling water to top up the glass.
  6. Garnish with a wedge of lime.

Apple Chai Sparkler

Ingredients:

Brewed chilled chai tea, apple, honey, ice, sparkling water.

Method:

Liven up your afternoons with this sweet and tasty Apple Chai Sparkler. This cool take on a hot favourite is a guaranteed crowed pleaser.

  1. Brew your chai tea with boiling water and set to one side to cool.
  2. Add ice to a glass.
  3. Drop a finely sliced quarter apple into the glass.
  4. Half fill with your cooled chai tea.
  5. Add honey to taste.
  6. Top up with sparkling water.

Cucumber Mint Bubble

Ingredients:

Cucumber, lemon, fresh mint, ice, sparkling water.

Method:

Another easy to make sparkling water fruit infusion, the Cucumber Mint Bubble is everything you could want from a long revitalising ice-cold drink at work.

  1. Slice up the desired amount of cucumber, lemon and mint (the more you use, the stronger the flavour).
  2. Add ice to a glass.
  3. Place the sliced cucumber, lemon and mint in the glass.
  4. Top up with sparkling water.
