Case study: The Law Society, London

Anthony | May 6, 2022

The Law Society is the professional membership body representing, supporting and promoting solicitors across England and Wales. Established in 1825, The Hall of The Law Society is based on Chancery Lane, London and this is where FreshGround worked with the team to provide their coffee machine and boiling water taps.

With agile and flexible working on the rise, The Law Society wanted to support their team, clients and suppliers with a modern, more useful shared workspace. They set out on repurposing several meeting rooms and opened them up to include a breakout and kitchen area that would include refreshments. Having worked with FreshGround prior, they came to us to help them understand their requirements and find a coffee machine that would offer convenience, variety, quality and one that would fit within their budget.

The F3 Jura GIGA X perfectly fitted their needs. It’s a compact and attractive fresh milk bean-to-cup machine that has dual-bean hoppers so users can choose between two blends or use one hopper for decaff coffee. It’s simple to use and works with the innovative and intuitive Jura JOE app, so coffee can be ordered easily on a smartphone for added convenience. It’s also quick and easy to keep clean and maintain, and offers a wide range of drinks.

We also installed a couple of boiling water taps, which means they can pour hot water straight from the tap. Perfect for tea drinkers, taps mean no more waiting around for the kettle to boil. They also deliver chilled water to help keep the team hydrated throughout the working day.

The project ran smoothly, on time and importantly came in on budget. We worked closely with Facilities Manager, Emily Holbrook on the project who has expressed how popular the machines have been since installation. Emily has also been very happy with our engineers and the support from FreshGround’s dedicated account manager. We’re delighted to be working on other projects in the future with The Law Society.
